How to style lilac: 5 outfit ideas

Hi everyone! We're back with another episode of "how to style," but today, we're talking about a color. I'm obsessed with lilac; it's versatile, fun, and happy. So, I want to show you how to style during this transitional season or the upcoming spring.

Monochrome with a pop of color

The first and easiest way to style lilac is to realize a monochromatic look with a pop of color. I love to style it with a warm and bright color like this warm yellow for a bag. Shoes can match the bag or not. I wear different colors for bags and shoes, but that's a personal choice.

Different shades of the same color

Another easy and chic way to style lilac is to use different shades of the same color. Speaking of lilac, you can go from pink to a cool-tone violet and be ready in five seconds. Since it is a basic outfit, I suggest you play with shapes, textures, and sparkles to give tridimensionality.

Two contrast colors and one neutral

We're upgrading because we're starting to play with colors and contrast. I love a rich green alongside lilac. Look at this look! A slim crop top in a neutral color like warm white and an oversized green blazer for the upper body: you have the contrast with shapes.

Big statement lilac pants and slim pumps in the same neutral color as the top for the bottom: you have sparkle, balance, fun, chic, and style.

Stay low profile with the bag and jewels since you have a lot going on in your clothes.

Another alternative is this gorgeous look with light orange trousers, a lilac blazer and top, and a black bag. Again, it's the same thought as the previous look, but with a warmer contrast color and black instead of white. These are great transitional looks for this season and excellent outfit ideas for spring!

Pastel party

The pro alternative to style lilac is to play with pastel shades. I love a great color combinations, and these looks are a perfect example of how you can wear a colorful outfit without neutrals. But, of course, the holy grail rule is to stay with a variety of three colors maximum.

Pastel green, rich light blue, and lilac for the right look: three colors but plain with a touch of texture at the top. The left outfit has not lilac, but pink. I've included it in this guide because it's a great inspiration if you want to play with fantasy: a plain sweater, a pair of checked trousers, and a polka-dot bag. How fun is it for spring?

Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
