The best hair accessories for fall 2022

Hi everyone! I missed last week's blog posts, but my mum was in Milan, and I had my energy and time for her. So I paused everything else because I needed to spend my free time with her. But I kept posting on Instagram, where we grew up so much! This morning, I woke up to 80 followers and priceless reel stats. I'm incredibly grateful for all of your support during this extraordinary journey. Today, I want to wrap up the best accessories for fall 2022 because I feel they are essential to elevate a look or refresh your clothes. Of course, you already know what I'm talking about for those who follow me on Instagram.

So let's make an intro to make everyone comfortable. Fall is here in its entire rainy, crispy, humid, nostalgic bloom. Our primary instinct is to run and shop for a whole new closet because we need something new. But if we buy only accessories to refresh the clothes we already have? Do you remember the LBD you have but don't often wear because you're tired of styling the same way? What if you add a headband or a bow to your hair?

I've been collecting hair accessories since I was a kid. I enjoy playing around with them whenever I get ready. Also, they are super handy because they let you style your hair and prevent it from getting freezy with this humidity.

Hair bows

Hair bows are one of my latest obsessions. I always wear the two from my mum, but I'm in the market for more. I just got a black velvet bow from H&M, and I can't wait to style it.

Headbands

It might sound like the Blair Waldorf era is back, but when talking about headbands, I mean the chunky and padded headbands that feel like a crown. I love them because they elongate every face shape and create volume where a typical headband doesn't. I just fell in love with this one from Amazon with all this sparkle.

Barrettes

I've been wearing hair barrettes since I was a kid. They are the most common hair accessories I know. I love the tiniest ones for the small locks and the bigger ones for a half-up hairstyle or as an alternative to the scrunchies. These vintage hair barrettes from Amazon are splendid. So romantic, nostalgic, and rustic, they are the perfect contrast for an edgy outfit.

Hair clips

You already know that hair clips are a must-have for me. I own many hair clips with different materials, dimensions, and decorations. They are matchless to prevent your hair from damage, create easy but cool hairstyles, and make your life easier when you need to put your hair up.

Also, I love that you can wear a casual hair clip, like this from Amazon, or make it a statement to embellish your outfit with these French-inspired ones.

All of these hair accessories I mentioned are timeless. So, with a small investment, you're creating endless combinations of outfits and hair accessories you can wear for a lifetime. For example, I have had some hair clips for over 10 years, and my mum's hair bows are over 40 years old because she used to wear them in her 20s.

So, which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
