The porridge recipe you'll love this fall/winter

Hi everyone! Today's post is unique in my heart because I'm sharing the porridge recipe that makes me super happy to get out of bed and have breakfast.

I struggled a bit trying different mixes of oat, water, and milk, but now that I found the holy grail, I'm so happy to have a warm breakfast first thing in the morning.

Also, I can decorate the porridge with different things, like fresh fruits, almonds, seed mix, or peanut butter, and have diverse breakfasts whenever I want. In fact, since I started with my nutritionist, I have become more aware of the importance of variety in my eating habits. For example, I used to have the same breakfast every day for months.

So, the porridge is perfect if you want the same breakfast but need to change it a bit every day. In fact, I decorate it with what I already have in my pantry, which changes a lot. For example, I love porridge with banana and peanut butter, a little piece of dark chocolate and almond cream, cinnamon and almonds, and peaches during summer. So, as you can see, the combinations are endless. In addition, the porridge has a neutral taste, so you can turn it savory or sweet according to your preferences. Lastly, it eats my fill so much. I can eat it at 7:30 am and feel full until lunch.

Now that I've rumbled a lot about my love for porridge let's crack on with the recipe.

The recipe for the perfect porridge

30 g of oat bran. You can either buy oatmeal and blend it a little bit.

100 g of oat milk or other plant-based milk, like almond or soy

50 g of water

Put everything in a little pot on low heat. Mix it until it has a creamy texture. Five minutes should be perfect. Put everything in your favorite bowl, and decorate it. Enjoy!
