As you know, I'm doing my manicure at home, and I love a simple gel polish on my nails. But I love looking around and admiring beautiful nail art.

In 2023, the keyword for everything is maximalism. After a time with muted tones, neutrals, and simple and classical designs, it's time to shine and show our personality to the world. So, why not start with a crazy manicure?

My favorite trends are velvet nails, a fun and optimistic color for a plain manicure, the French illusion manicure, and the molten metallics.

Metal shades are stunning on nails, but in 2023 we're seeing them with a twist, and I think it's so chic!

The velvet effect is unbelievable! It's not a simple glittery nail polish but a mix of products to make the look of velvet on nails. I love that the manicure will touch other senses other than vision.

The French illusion manicure is one of the most elaborate trends, and I would wear it for a special occasion, but it's a fun twist to a classic.

Optimistic and fun colors

Lastly, optimistic colors are evergreen because we saw them also in 2022. For those who love plain manicures like me, it's a great occasion to experiment with colors and get out of your comfort zone. In fact, for these holidays, I went for a glittery red manicure, and I felt so confident!
