How to style parachute pants. 5 outfit ideas

Hi everyone, and welcome back to another episode of How to style, where I share different ways to wear an item of trending clothing or accessory.

I struggled with today's episode because we're talking about parachute pants. It's that trend that I don't know if I love them or I hate them. I only know that my body shape is not ideal for parachute pants. Also, I'm embracing a more classical style now, so I can't see myself in parachute pants.

Anyway, it's undeniable that parachute pants are trending a lot, and you can style them in many different ways.

The more common style trick I saw online is to pair your parachute pants with something slimmer or cropped to balance the volume of the pants. It's also the most predictable way to wear them.

But if I had to try parachute pants on myself, I would wear them like this outfit idea: chunky flip-flops, a mini bag, and a long and structured upper garment. I'm also in love with the color combo. The lilac parachute pants are adorable and unusual. This style is also less casual than the others I found, so it could be an excellent alternative for those who don't love street style.

I'm surprised by this trend because, in my mind, they are incredibly cool and stylish. But, in reality, they are versatile. You can dress them down with sneakers and an oversized sweatshirt for a coffee pick-up or feel more glamorous with a sexy corset and a pair of cool sunglasses. Chunky sneakers and a tight crop top are perfect for your chic and sporty personality.

They are perfect for playing with sleek hairstyles and mini or micro bags. It's all in balancing the volume of the parachute pants with something clean, elegant, mini, and fitting to create a chic contrast in your outfit.

But now, I'd like to know if you love the parachute pants trend, if you'd wear them, and how! So let me know in the comments below!
