Christmas wishlist: lifestyle edition

Hi everyone! I hope you liked the first Christmas wishlist clothing edition. I enjoy so much collecting all of these ideas. It's pretty fun and comfortable, and I can also take inspiration from all of these wishlists all year.

Today is Thursday, and here on martinamanca.com means lifestyle day. So for today's wishlist, I want to share some of the things I'm eyeing for a long time.

From the last year, my lifestyle changed a lot. The pandemic and the house change made me rethink all of my routines, habits, and preferences.

As a result, I'm entering this holiday season with a new love for the slow, calm, and relaxed feeling. I enjoy so much taking time for myself, for my breakfast, and the little things. I learned that a slower living helps me with my anxiety.

So, I can enjoy cooking a yummy recipe when I feel it. I love lighting up candles around the house. I can take so much joy laying on the couch with a cozy blanket, a book, and my cat. But the most remarkable switch I made was my time schedule. I used to go to bed super late and sleep less than eight hours per night. I was always so tired and nervous. Now, I'm committed to going to bed earlier enough to spend about an hour in my bed relaxing, reading, or chatting with my boyfriend before sleeping. This habit makes me wake up in a better mood and feel more rested. Also, another great pro of this change is that I manage to wake up early, enjoy a slow morning, and get most of the things done during the morning to enjoy the afternoon and evening.

There's another thing I'm introducing to my everyday life, and it's romanticizing every single moment of the day. It's such a treat. I'm slowly eliminating all the things I don't like anymore. I make sure to buy only things that fill my heart with joy and happiness. But I'm paying a lot more attention to the space where I live. Since I moved into this apartment, I have committed to creating a cozy, lovely, and romantic vibe. I want to fall in love with the space where I live every single day. So, I have a beautiful table cloth when I eat, a lovely set up in the living room, excellent and comfortable sheets on the bed. They are small things, but at the end of the day, they make me so happy.

I love sharing everything that improved my lifestyle, but we are here for a stunning wishlist. Please find below all the things I added to my Christmas wishlist for the lifestyle. A subscription for beautiful bouquets at home

I started gifting beautiful bouquets of flowers only when I discovered Colvin. It's a beautiful website with unique bunches of flowers and plants. You can pick what you like the most, write a card, and they deliver it directly at home. It's super handy, and the quality of their flowers it's unbelievable. I gifted a bunch of flowers to my mum at the end of October, and it's still thriving! Now they offer a gift card for a subscription of bouquets. You can pick the quantity from two to twelve and the first bunch of flowers. It's a thoughtful gift, and your loved one, or yourself, will have fresh flowers at home!

Handmade gifts

One of the things I love the most is looking around in my apartment and spotting some handmade gifts I received during the last few years. I have some creations by my incredibly talented mum and some gems she saved during the years for me. It's incredible how much I care about these things. They release so much love around the house, and I feel so fortunate. So, I bought off of Amazon a kit to DIY candles at home, and I started gifting customized candles to the people I love. I can't explain the joy I saw in their eyes when they found out that I had made those candles. It's priceless. I'm not as talented as my mum, but even the most minor things can make a huge impact.

What's your favorite thing about your lifestyle? I would love to hear from you.
