Christmas wishlist: clothing edition

Hi everyone! The holiday season has officially started in my personal calendar, and I'm so excited to get in the festive mood. I love the holiday season because my birthday is on December 6th and the anniversary with my boyfriend. This year we'll celebrate seven years together. I'm shocked!

I get a lot of fun doing some wishlist for Christmas time, even if I'm not getting anything from the list. But it's some kind of ritual to keep dreaming like a little girl.

This year, I'm doing something special because I will share my personal Christmas wishlist here on the blog. Also, on the Instagram account, you will find some gift guides. I'm going all out this year because I'm so thrilled to celebrate on this blog too.

Ok, now let's move to the fun part: my first Christmas wishlist for the holiday season 2021.

The links you'll find below are not affiliates.

A custom-made oversized black blazer

The first item I want to share is a dream I have since forever. Unfortunately, I have pretty broad shoulders, and I struggle to find a good blazer that could fit me well everywhere. So I'm on the market for a great oversized black blazer. I know that the vintage ones are the best of the best, but I'm dreaming of getting done a custom-made oversized black blazer. It's also a great gift idea even tho it's pretty expensive. But you could have a unique piece in your closet made with all the details you love the most, from the length to the width of the sleeves. You can pick the buttons, fabric, and linen: you'll wear a real gem for a lifetime.

A dream pair of boots

The second item is a fantastic gift idea, a wise purchase, and a staple in a closet. I think everyone dreams of THE pair of boots, the one that fits you like a glove, elevates all of your outfits, makes you feel like a queen. You know what I'm talking about. I'm so motivated to go back to my workouts only because I want to slim my legs and fit in a pair of boots.

THE black coat for life

We already saw how versatile is a black coat. You can wear it in so many ways, keep it season after season, and be always a queen. Recently, I dismissed my beloved black coat because I couldn't fit in it anymore. It was military-style, pretty fitted, and with gold details. I loved it so much, I've worn it almost every day, but it was time to say goodbye. After this experience, I decided that the next black coat will be:

  • Oversized sleeves so that I can layer underneath

  • Neutral details so that I can style it with gold and silver

  • Double-breasted because I love this style

  • Straight and oversized fit so that it's more dramatic

  • Long, at least midi

A designer bag

If I had to choose between shoes, bags, and accessories, I would always pick bags. This is because I have a deep love for bags; I can buy them forever.

It's been a long time since I first wished to start my personal designer bags collection. So, I had to add this particular item to my Christmas wishlist. Of course, I would start with a classic, like a Gucci Jackie 1961, a Lady Dior, a Hermès Kelly bag, or a Hermès Birkin.

As you can see, my Christmas wishlist is full of good staples that would last me a lifetime. I'm slowly trying to evolve my shopping strategy accordingly to my budget, of course. Nevertheless, I would love to build a closet with timeless pieces and some gems.
