Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog, and thank you so much for your patience. I had planned to start this month on January 3rd, but I had to deal with a personal loss, and I couldn't focus on anything else. 

However, I'm so excited to be back for this fantastic year!

I had such a hard time, but now I want to focus only on the brightness, the shine, and the beauty with this post. When I started writing again, I felt the urge to set the right mood for this upcoming year. 

Before starting, let me thank you again for the past months and the dream you're allowing me to live with this blog. It's an honor to share all of my thoughts with you, and I can't wait for what's to come. 

2022 moodboard

Since last September, I've made Canva a moodboard to set my goals, attitude, and vibe. This moodboard has personal and professional goals, passions I want to nourish, projects I want to work on, big and small dreams. It's such a therapeutic moment for me, and I update it every time I need it. 

So, I thought to share with you a fashion-themed moodboard for 2022 to set the vibe and start talking about some trends, wishlist items, and more. 

Fashion trend #1: shine bright like a diamond

When I saw this trend, I started singing Rihanna's song. What better way to start 2022 than treating ourselves like the pure diamond we are?

This year it's all about the brightness, inside and outside. We need to shine with glitters, pearls, bright colors. The closet will be our personal dopamine space. 

Fashion trend #2: pearls

I have a love-hate relationship with pearls, but I want to experiment with them in 2022 because it's a terrific trend. Dresses, necklaces, rings, tops, pearls are so innocent and sexy at the same time. It's the perfect contrast for an audacious outfit. 

Fashion trend #3: satin

This year I want to romanticize even more every day of my life. So, I dress like I'm heading out even if I'm staying in all day. The fun fact is that I end up going out almost every day because I feel confident, cute, and I'm already ready! So, I can enjoy the sun, a beautiful walk in the park, or whatever activity. 

Why am I telling you all of this speaking of satin? This beautiful fabric will be our best friend this year because it's perfect for staying in, thanks to its comfort. We all will be obsessed with satin because why not feel super chic around our home? Maybe this is the occasion to splurge a little bit because a good satin piece is an excellent investment since you can use it as loungewear and outwear.

Fashion trend #4: double blazer

I love two blazers layered together! I’m officially on the market for a brand new collection of blazers! Oversized, of course.

2022 wishlist 

I've already told you that I started making a list with my wishlist on my phone to manifest when shopping. We already know how obsessed I am with this list. First, I make it with all the items I want to buy to create a smart and functional closet. Then, I make another wishlist in my mind with all the things I see on the runway that I think are pure perfection. 

In general, I have an eye on all of the items that I think are timeless and wearable. Trends tempt me so much, but I would never splurge for a trendy piece.

Besides fashion, one of my biggest wishes this year is to travel more. I'm planning some fun trips that I can't wait to do. Travel fulfills me so much, inspires me like few things. Since I'm prioritizing only the things that make me happy, traveling is one of them.
