5 fun things to do on a budget for Easter

Hi everyone! Here we are, ready for Easter weekend! I’m so excited about this festivity because it’s the first time I can spend the whole weekend with my boyfriend after seven years! Can you feel all the feelings?

As you know, I love planning fun things to do, even if my budget is pretty tight. I already shared how to do shopping on a budget, so this time it’s the perfect chance to tell you how I plan fun activities to enjoy life on a budget.

Arrange a picnic

On one of the last Easter Sundays, I arranged a picnic for my boyfriend and me. We just went to a city park, had all the yummy food, read a book, took some pictures, and enjoyed the time together.

It takes just a few minutes! My favorite things to pack for a picnic are fresh fruits, chocolate, fresh vegetables like carrots, and a cold main course like cold rice or pasta. Then, pack lots of water, a fun beverage like wine, and ice to refrigerate. That’s it! How easy is that?

Pick a cute location near the city

Since traveling during these festivities is quite expensive, you can leave your city to visit some cute locations. You can go by train, car, bus, or bike; it’s the perfect way to change the routine and enjoy a beautiful spring day outdoors!

For example, this weekend, we’ll visit the Royal Palace in Monza, just 40 minutes from Milan.

Relax? Book a day at the spa!

Many spas allow you to book a daily appointment at a fixed price to enjoy the central installations like the sauna. So you can relax and escape from all the craziness of the city.

Staycation

Can’t you travel abroad but you want comfort? Book a room at a hotel in your city and go for a staycation! I recommend treating yourself maybe with room service or dinner and breakfast included in your reservation. It’s a one-night staycation; make sure it’s the perfect treat for you!

Homebody? Enjoy your hobbies!

If you are more a homebody person, you can stay in and enjoy your hobbies! Vision boards, arts and crafts, DIY something, learn some new skills! The options are endless!

This Easter Monday, maybe I’ll start my sewing course. Would it be a great idea!
