What I'd wear if I lived in London

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm so glad for today's post because we're doing the second episode of the What I'd wear if I lived in series. Today's episode is about a city I've wanted to visit since I was a kid but never did for some reason. So, of course, we're talking about London. Also, it's exciting because my Instagram feed is full of beautiful and inspiring reels about London and the UK. I'm debating whether to go there this year or book my dream trip to Greece. What do you think?

Anyway, today I'll show you some outfits I'd wear if I lived in London. As I said, I've never been there, but in my imagination, London is edgy, elegant, intense, ironic, and versatile. So, I would experiment with my edgiest personality, some old-money vibe, and my elegant and romantic character. That mix is powerful and versatile enough for a city like London.

I'd live with my love for traditional fabrics, patterns, and colors for my apartment, with a balanced mix of a French vibe. I'd have a country house to escape the city, live in nature, and host beautiful barbecue parties. So, my closet would be 70% edgy, old money, and elegant, and 30% country chic and romantic.

I would have my brand to manage, so my days would be packed with meetings, events, and social occasions. So that's where I'd wear my old money and elegant clothes. I'd also be a heel girl because it's my London personality.

But I'd also save some time by visiting my city. So that's the time to wear and experiment with edgy but comfy clothes. Brunch, bookstore visits, museum dates, and long walks are my thing for my spare time in the city.

Finally, it's time to escape and recharge the batteries in my country house. That's where I would live in my Lydia Millen era. So, country chic with elegant and ethereal dresses are my masterpieces. I would love to spend time in the garden with my roses, host parties in the garden, and go for long walks in the English countryside. That would be my dream life if I lived in London. Something about the UK, the Cotswolds, and London attracts me like a magnet. I've always been a beach girl, I've grown up by the water, and the sea is mighty for my soul. But the energy from the content I've seen about London and the Cotswolds hits different to my heart.

If you've visited the UK recently, please let me know your dream itinerary! I'm starting to plan the vacations for 2023, and I would love to know more from you!
