What I'd wear if I lived in LA

Hi everyone! How are you? I'm in desperate need of a vacation. It's been too long since I hopped on an airplane for a break. I spent the most magical weekend at my parents' three weeks ago, and I'm already planning the next trip. As some of you know, I love traveling, exploring new places, and going for new adventures. But I have a corporate job that doesn't allow me to hop on an airplane whenever I want. So I want to start a new series here on the blog and work with my imagination: What I'd wear if I lived in...

Today's episode, which is also the first, is about a city I have wanted to visit since forever, Los Angeles. I don't know what attracts me so much, but I want to see the city and the culture with my eyes because it is magical. Also, I love that LA has the ocean so close to the town, I grew up on an island with the sea 15 minutes from my apartment, so I miss the water so much here in Milan. Los Angeles is like having the best of both worlds, career and beach life.

Even if some people think it's not worth it, I want to plan a trip to Los Angeles at some point just to try that lifestyle and dream.

Anywho, I collected 8 outfit ideas I'd wear if I lived in LA. So, let's see!

My keyword is effortlessly chic but comfy. In my mind, I'm the girl who wakes up super early in her house, goes for a walk to grab a coffee in a local spot, and enjoys her healthy breakfast in her garden under a magical Californian sun. Then, she gets ready to go for some work meetings in her chic outfit, calls her friends, and goes straight to the beach to enjoy the sunset with a bottle of rosé and some snacks.

My closet would be the perfect mix of clothes to take me from a business meeting to a casual date on the beach in seconds. I would have big beach bags to carry the essentials to stay at the beach the most, Hermès bags for the meetings to bring my work gear, and belt bags for my walks. I would also add some fancy pochette for my most special dates. My favorite fabrics would be airy, light, flattering, and denim to give me contrast. I would have a bikini collection, which is a secret dream of mine, but I don't use them so much. Lastly, half-zipped crewneck and UGG are must-haves to complete a perfect LA closet.

OMG, in just one blog post, I made a trip to Los Angeles and returned.

Have you ever been there? Let me know in the comments your thoughts about LA!
