The seasonal closet change is truly amazing.

Happy Monday, everyone! I changed my seasonal closet late this year because the weather was unpredictable. When I decided to put my knitwear away, I was shocked! I always tell you that a capsule closet, with key and versatile pieces, is a great way to play with fashion on a budget. But I've never thought I could build a summer capsule wardrobe in a season! I only unpacked two little boxes, and my summer closet was done! What I would have imagined took me days lasted about an hour.

I kept in my closet the button-downs, some tops I layered during fall and winter, and my denim. They are perfect for all seasons. Unfortunately, part of my knitwear still is in my closet because I need more space. The past winter was great for my knitwear acquisition because I often shopped from my mum's closet. So, my collection is growing, and I'm not mad about it.

Speaking of my summer closet instead, I'm glad to have collected good linen pants because I live in them. Then cute tops and basic T-shirts are a crucial part of my summer closet because they are easy throw-on pieces I can style with different accessories. I would love to find cute, light, and easy-to-style dresses. This year I discovered my romantic and feminine personality and want to embrace it as much as possible. But it's challenging to find cute and well-fitted dresses.

But my major shock was the easiness and quickness of my season change. I had already decluttered before winter, so I had only clothes I loved and planned to wear this season. Summer clothes are easier to fold and file in less space because they are thinner. Still, it's relieving to know that I have only clothes that let me live my summer in the best way possible.

Speaking of my winter clothes still in my wardrobe, I'm at peace with them because my knitwear is already selected. The other garments are either strategic pieces or statement ones that let me style my winter outfits in a fun way.

As a result of this seasonal closet change, I'm still a fan of the famous capsule wardrobe. Still, I'm also fun of curated research that lets me find statement pieces that give me joy and a twist. How to find the best compromise between these two souls? As some of you know, the answer is creating a shopping list. Every season, during your closet change, analyze your closet and find the spots to fill, the clothes to donate or sell, and the vibe you want for the season. Based on these requirements, create a detailed shopping list with all the clothes you need or want. Then, go find your dream clothes. It's like the vision board process but with clothes. And it works so well that I get even more fun from shopping than buying just for the endorphins.
