Make-up artist-approved products I bought recently

Hi everyone! I'm writing this post last minute because I'm sharing all the products I recently bought for my make-up collection. Since I met my dear friend, an incredible make-up artist, I've been building a functional make-up collection with her. So, I went shopping with her, and here's what I got.

Before starting with the products, I need to introduce my skin type and my goals for the make-up finish. I have sensitive skin with some oily and dry sections and some redness. For the eyes, I struggle with eyeshadows because I can't make them last. Lastly, my lips get dehydrated quickly, so I need to keep them hydrated and nourished.

Ok, let's crack on with the make-up artist-approved products I bought recently.

I needed the basics, so we started with primer, foundation, and concealer. Then, my make-up artist friend wants me to wear something light to even out the skin, with a glowy finish and pore minimizer. So, we went for the Pore minimizer face primer and concealer by Make Up Forever. Then, we fell in love with the Dior backstage foundation. I know it's pricey, but it's the best thing I've ever had on my skin. With these three products, I can achieve glowy skin with no imperfections and no oily T zone.

Speaking of basics, she told me to buy a brush set because I had no good ones at home. So, we picked out this one from Amazon, with is a great starter kit for an amateur like me.

We also found an eye primer to fight my oily eyelids and make my eyeshadows or liners last longer. She told me that the Mulac one is perfect and easy to apply.

Then, I looked for a brow gel because I love it when my eyebrows are put together all day long. She had no doubt the Charlotte Tilbury brow gen was the one.

Lastly, for my lips, we picked out two make-up products. I bought my first Armani beauty lipstick in this beautiful cold magenta shade and pinky lip oil from Blondesister. Even if the lipstick has a matte effect, it's super creamy, so my lips would not get dry. The lip oil is super versatile because it has a light pinky shade, so I can wear it alone, with a simple lip liner, or over lipstick.

I'm super proud of this shopping session and feel more confident to try new make-up on my face since I met her. Also, we have so much fun doing these things that I feel like a baby in a candy store!
