Lifestyle trend: journaling for personal growth

Since the beginning of quarantine, I'm trying to introduce some healthy habits to my daily routine to improve my wellness. If from the point of view, practicing yoga every morning helps my body; from another one, I'm doing some research to find something that could help my mind. That's how I discover journaling.

What is journaling

The journaling is the practice of writing a daily diary. It could be a simple consciousness flow, or some spot notes, or a structured page. The matter is that you write consistently to let the thoughts, the problems, and creativity flow out of your mind.

How and when journaling

There are different journaling style, but they have in common is that they are all okay. There is not a better or unique style; the matter is being dedicated and break the creative mind free. It could be a mix of notes, sketches, collages, and cuttings. It's up to you.

Why journaling

One thing that could help us to be persistent writing a journal is finding a real motivation to do it. One of the most common reasons is personal growth, but there are also other justifications.

  • for mental health care

  • for realizing a project

  • to track the reason why we are grateful

  • to analyze our dreams
