Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed my last post about the struggles in fashion. I had so much fun writing it, and I thought to write a similar one about lifestyle. So here there are 5 struggles in lifestyle and how to fix them.

Self care

Let's kick off the list of struggles in lifestyle with the most important one. Self-care is so fundamental to everyone because it recharges and spoils us. During the pandemic, I found out that I was in extreme need of it. You could enroll reading a book in this category, shoot some cute photos, take a walk outside, or take a warm bath. Self-care is simply everything that gives you joy, energy, and relaxation at the same time. Personally, my self-care starts with a long warm shower with relaxing music e scented candles. Next, I apply excellent body lotion and comfy loungewear. Finally, I drink a good glass of wine while I watch a romantic movie. What about you?

Too much tech

I feel guilty in some way for this second struggle in lifestyle. I enjoy being on my phone, on Instagram, and at Tik Tok because I can find so much inspiration and joy. But I know that too much tech is awful for my mind, body, and lifestyle. So, I'm trying to limit the time I'm on my phone only when alone at home and I've nothing to do. When I'm with my boyfriend, friends, or family, I try to put my phone away or using it to collect some good memories.

Overthinking

Have you ever experienced overthinking everything some days? It's easy to start doubting or worrying even about the simplest daily things. Overthinking causes me a lot of anxiety, and I'm trying to letting go of the things I can't control, even though it's so hard for me. How do you cope with overthinking?

Overwhelming work

Before the pandemic was easier to set boundaries between work and personal life. But with the lockdown and smart working, it's more complicated than ever. So, it happened that work, home duties, and other personal things overwhelmed me so much that I felt confused.
Since then, I have set boundaries even though I'm still working from home. There is a specific time when I work, cleaning activities, and enjoying some spare time. I feel it's so essential for me to have this particular schedule because it helps me feel less guilty and overwhelmed.

Lack of sleep

At the end of this list of struggles in lifestyle I want to talk about today is lack of sleep. I tend to sleep really poorly or not to sleep at all. It's a bad habit I carry from my childhood. If I'm worried or too tired, it's even more challenging. Growing up, I discovered some methods that help me to fall asleep quickly. Classical music also works if I woke up in the middle of the night. Reading a good book disconnects my mind and helps me relax for a good night of sleep. I tried meditation, but it's still too much hard for me. The last thing is playing the sounds of nature on my phone: I love the sound of the sea, it's my favorite, but also the rain. They bring me the peace I need to have a quiet and recharging night of sleep.
