Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Today I just wanted to dedicate this post to you, to love, to all the beauty around us.

I'm not a massive fan of Valentine's Day, but I love celebrating love, friendship, and beauty.

Are you celebrating today?

My boyfriend and I will not celebrate traditionally; we haven't planned anything this year. Instead, we have this tradition to make spontaneous romantic dates either at home or out every now and then, just because we sincerely enjoy our company. I always have butterflies in my stomach, even if we are going for a walk at the park. These are the romantic things I love more than Valentine's Day. Also, it happens that he works all day, unfortunately.

We have been together since 2014; my mind blows away if I think that I get so emotional whenever he invites me for a date, surprises me, or takes my hand. But if I had to pick three romantic gestures that I sincerely love, I would say: when he makes breakfast for me, when he helps me fall asleep at night, when he surprises me, making a wish of mine come true.

Oh my! Even now that I'm writing them down, I'm thrilled! I still remember the day when he came back home from the night shift with a massive bouquet of flowers and sweets for breakfast. The most beautiful thing is that he did all of these magical things unexpectedly. And I feel like the luckiest princess in the world.
