I know, I know, it's still August, and I'm thinking of fall. What?? I'm already back to work. September is just around the corner, which means fashion month, fresh inspirations for fall outfits, and all the good stuff. 

So, I thought to start a new series on the blog called Getting ready for fall, where I'll share all the inspirations I found online related to fall and the timeless pieces. 

For the first episode, we talk about bags. I love bags; I think they are the best accessories for an outfit. You can elevate a minimal look, dress down a dress, or introduce a pop of color. 

Let's take a look at the trends for this fall 2021 season. 

Oversized bags

We're all boss babes. We need oversized bags to carry everything to run the world. The first trend for this season is just made for us. Are we ready to think big even when we shop for our next bag? Here are some inspirations directly from the runways. 

Fluffy bags

Fluffy bags for fall. Groundbreaking. But they are so chic for a reason. So how can you resist a fluffy bag during fall? It adds texture, dimension, and coziness to any outfit you pick. 

Chains

It doesn't matter if chains are gold, silver, matt, or colored. For the next season, we're going to see big, chunky chains all over our purses. Quite the opposite with the fluffy bags, chains will turn your outfit edgy. So chic. 

Quilted bags

If I think of quilted bags, there's only one brand I want to shop for: CHANEL.

A Quilted Chanel bag is my dream purchase since forever. It's timeless, chic, edgy, versatile; all the best adjectives are for a quilted Chanel bag. 

Browsing on the internet, though, I found so many great inspirations for a quilted bag. They play with shape, different quilting techniques. I love it!

So, what's your favorite trend? I think that a strategic purchase with any of these trends is an excellent investment. They are all timeless.
