CC101: Unlock your potential with habit stacking for consistent content creation.

Hi everyone! Today's episode of CC101 is dedicated to habits. I recently listened to the Atomic Habits audiobook and was in awe of how many getaways I got from it. One is about habit stacking, and it's perfect for every content creator.

Habit stacking is a technique for creating new habits in your routine based on what you already do. Speaking of content creation, a habit-stacking example is to start filming every time you get dressed. Wearing an outfit is already a solid habit in your routine, so you're using it to create a new habit, filming to make a new piece of content without stressing your brain too much.

Habit stacking is so effective because it ticks everything off the list of a good habit: evident, intriguing, easy, and satisfying. Our brain needs these four elements to accept a new habit, so you must take advantage of what's already inside your routine to make a new habit easy and satisfying. But also evident and intriguing because we're stimulating our brains to take a step toward our goals.

I love setting goals and visions for my future, but I often need help staying consistent with the new habits I must introduce to make my dreams come true. I get so frustrated sometimes that I blame myself for my poor self-discipline. However, the Atomic Habits audiobook gave me the awareness to understand how I can work towards my goals effectively.

So, Atomic Habits is officially a highly recommendation book to read if you want to understand more about our brain, but also if you're going to set an efficient and effective strategy for your content creation journey.

Goals and visions are crucial in this job, but you must implement them in a practical action plan. Habit stacking is incredible for the amateur phase of content creation.
