CC101: Embrace your inner cringe with pride and confidence.

Hi everyone! Today's CC101 episode is a reminder to all of us who want to step into the content creation industry, but also a sign to embrace our inner cringe with pride and confidence in all our life areas.

Today's topic hits me deeply because I'm working on accepting my inner cringe and personality to live with pride and confidence in who I am. It would be nice to share my thoughts about accepting our inner cringe with pride and enthusiasm for the content creation part of the story.

I understand that the industry makes you compare yourself to others as part of the job. But you want to embrace your inner cringe with pride and confidence to protect your mental health and elevate your content.

In fact, if you decide to embrace your inner cringe and personality, you'll save your mental health from the comparison spiral and appear more genuine to your audience.

I often read that a beginner content creator needs to look at other's work to set a personal content strategy. It's not that right or wrong. I understand if you look up to some pro content creators for inspiration. But I suggest you know your personality and unique traits - even if they are cringeworthy - for your online personal branding.

One of the most essential reminders you want to tell yourself is, "No one is me, and that's my superpower."

You're unique among the other content creators, so people decided to follow you. So, embrace it and enhance it in your content.

For example, you're super funny and goofy in your daily life. Create relatable content around this trait. You'll see that many people like you may be afraid to show this personality, but it can resonate with you.

Despite the trends and other content strategies that are catchy to gain followers initially, you could feel burned out because you aren't genuine with your community.

So, let's do a favor to ourselves first and celebrate our unique personality in real life and our content without thinking of other's thoughts.
