8 struggles of a fashion-addicted and how to fix easily

I sincerely love fashion, shopping, and keeping up-to-date with trends. But there some struggles that I always face when it comes to my love relationship with fashion. Let's see together 8 struggles of being fashion addicted and how to fix them easily.

Airport luggage limits

How many clothes to wear and how little space in the luggage!

Every time I get the chance to travel, I struggle with airport luggage limits because I want to pack so many clothes, just in case. Have you ever experienced it? Personally, I solved it by planning all of my outfits days by day and packing just the clothes needed. The only thing I pack in abundance is underwear, but it doesn't take too much space in the luggage. And whenever I don't have something to wear, I always have the excuse to do some shopping!

Despite having a bursting wardrobe, you still have nothing to wear.

I can stay in front of my closet forever. It's so easy that I start thinking, "I have nothing to wear." Sometimes it's because my clothes bore me so much, sometimes it's because I need a refresh and want to try something different. For the first one, I donate the clothes I don't want anymore to buy something new. I use either Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok to get some outfit inspiration for the second reason.

Falling in love with a piece of clothing, only to then see its astronomical price

I bet that you feel me! I think I can scout the most expensive piece of clothing in a store or a fashion magazine. Whenever I get into a clothing store, my eyes go straight to the most expensive piece, either during the sale or not. For this inner talent, there is no solution. Sometimes, I save from my paychecks to be able to buy it. Sometimes, I do some research for dupes.

The love-hate relationship you have with the dressing room mirror in your favorite clothes shop.

The dressing room is my nightmare during the shopping experience. I get so uncomfortable and unconfident because it's so hot, and there are only a few ways to hang my things properly. The mirror and the lighting, though, are the most unflattering things in the world. I end up seeing all of my defects and hating my body. It's harder when it comes with denim or bikinis. It's easier with dresses, tops, and pants because I can wear them with fewer struggles, and I feel like a model. Do you feel me?

Trying to take off a romper/jumpsuit in the bathroom

Jumpsuits are one of my favorites pieces of clothing ever. But when it comes to style them, I always have in mind, "what if I have to go to the bathroom?". During the spring and summertime, it's easier because of the warm temperatures. But during the fall and wintertime, it's like torture to take off all of your outfits, especially if it's layered.

For this reason, I often wear a jumpsuit for a short date or just for a walk. When it comes to longer dates, dinners, or other dates, I tend to wear dresses or two pieces.

Lack of pockets or fake pockets

I always think, "Why are there fake pockets or none of them?". Pockets are life-changing for us! I can easily bring light things, or my phone in my pockets and the other stuff in my bag! Why do I have to keep the phone in my hand because there are no pockets or fake ones? I love trousers, denim, dresses, and skirts with pockets. They facilitate me so much!

Trying on and find the perfect pair of jeans

From what I can remember, I start searching for a new pair of denim; I try 14 to 20 types, I end up buying none of them or just one. How is it possible that finding the perfect pair of jeans has to be this hard? I confess that I have not the perfect body, my tights are puffy, and my lower back isn't skinny. So, after infinite attempts, I have to stick to a precise type of denim: the slouchy one and some of the mom fit, both with a high waist. The other ones are not for me. Which is your denim go-to?

Wearing pullover or white clothes with makeup

It's always the same. You have the most stunning makeup, but your outfit is white. How can you survive? Roll neck pullovers are some nightmare, and white clothes are talented to get dirty in seconds. So, when you wear on your white clothes, you can just put on your head a silk scarf that you'll take off once you adjust the roll neck. In this way, you'll save both the makeup and the hairstyle.

It's true, the relationship with fashion is full of ups and downs, love and hate. But how awesome is it when you wear your favorite clothes, you feel confident, and your eyes shine like a diamond?
